Be careful to ask for refurbed rooms if staying. Food very good. Not the tartar sauce. Home made but more like parsley and garlic.
Lovely stay, friendly and helpful staff. Made to feel welcome and my 12 year old son was treated like a boss. He loved it. Thank you muchly

Absolutely awful. Dirty hot very run down
Lovely pub great that they welcome bikers and put on a barbecue for all just for donations to charity

Excellent pub with outstanding views. The staff are always welcoming and friendly. Normally the food is very good. However I ordered the Pasta Arribiatta and I found it very bland! No spice or bite to it at all. Not up to their normal standard of tasty food. Staff were exceptional though and as well as the normal tea and coffee offered they even had Green & Herbal teas.
I turned up tonight without having booked a table as I was dining on my own. The place was very busy with all table a taken, which is testament to the pub on a Wednesday evening. I ate an amazing curry at the bar and had a couple of lovely ciders. Great pub.

My Girlfriend and I stayed at Cherry Tree Barn back in January. It was perfect, quiet and surrounded in countryside. The living area was immaculate - very well designed. We stayed in with a glass of wine each and worked on a jigsaw puzzle while the fireplace was lit... perfect. The kitchen was well equipped and spacious enough to make a full English in the morning, a spaghetti bolognes and we even baked a cake together. Marion (the owner) was very friendly, met with us when we got there to talk us through everything and gave us some tips on where to visit. Was so happy, I'm trying to book the same place for our anniversary.
Had the pleasure of staying at Cherry Tree Barn (Hazeland Lodge) at the beginning of June and it was just beautiful. A great place to stay in the middle of the English countryside, with a pool and a tennis court right on it's doorstep. Lovely weekend and I hope to visit again :)

If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!

Wow - What a lovely family friendly campsite! Set in beautiful surroundings and only 5 minutes from the nearest town. The whole site is nice and flat with immaculate facilities. Pitches are very large and nicely spread out. I stayed for three nights with my daughters (9 & 7). From fishing on the lakes, walking the nature trail, den building, feeding pigmy goats or playing in the large play park there was always something for them to do. There is even a bar for the adults on site (open Fri & Sat). The staff were very polite and couldn’t be more helpful. I highly recommend Blacklands Lakes and will definitely be visiting again!! 10/10
This is our 5th time. We really like it. This place is easy for us, my 6 year old boy and 4 year old girl, love the playground. I can set up keeping an eye on them, then chill out with a cup of tea (maybe a glass of wine later). Facilities are good for the money, I have stayed at better sites but they are double the money and no more fun for the children.
