Local Restaurants & Places to Eat around Cherhill

Spice Of Bengal

13 Wood St, Calne SN11 0BZ, UK – 01249 811833

We stayed at holly ditch barn and this restaurant was on their information pack as a recommendation. The take away was quick and tasted superb. The chicken tikka dhansak was excellent and as authentic as any in brick lane. A good choice.

Best in town! Serve a variety of dishes which you don't normally see on other menus. Staff always helpful and do take aways too.

Good curry at a good price. Normally no need for a reservation. Also does lovely take out

Bring you own booze.

Sampaguita Cafe

Unit 4 St Marys Courtyard, Church Street, Calne SN11 0QZ, UK – 01249 811201

Small and quiet off a back street with a number of private businesses that looks like it doesn't get a lot of business; even though it is right next to a large public carpark, there is also some on street parking. It also has gluten free options as well as vegan. There is a toilet but this can not be used if they are cooking as it is through the kitchen. It has a number of tables in an outside courtyard area. Liked the food and would go there again.

As a family of vegans we were so so thrilled to find this gem of a cafe. We had our very own vegan menu with so much choice. The portions were huge and creative (best vegan breakfast ever!) and the staff were all super friendly. Coming back soon to sample the lunch menu!
